Those are both Linux distributions with robust security, privacy from Google, and the ability to run plenty of FLOSS Android apps. PureOS would be a downgrade in every possible way.

As for anonimity distros, first that comes to mind or searches is Tails OS. However, the least know obscured anonimity distro is KodachiOS.
- r/pureos - RedditI recently switched back to linux and decided to give PureOS a chance. After installing some software and doing an update, my system shows the usual debian bootscreen before entering the PureOS one. This also delays the booting process significantly. Can anyone tell me how to get this back to the old behavior ?
