Make sure barrel PRECISELY goes back in original position. Failure to do so will cause pump imbalance. (Will you ever know?) As always opening the pump allows the risk of a million other problems.

I have 188K on a 2007 deleted 6.7. past few years temps keep rising during heavy pulling. I found cracks in the side plastic of my radiator last month, so I replaced the radiator with a Cold Case radiator and added a 180-degree thermostat.

Today after cold starting the truck (15°F) I noticed it was streaming diesel. I pin pointed the leak to the bottom area of the be pump facing away from the engine from some sort of flange.
