Bookmark or Share- PSE&G deposit? (apartment, bad credit, how much) - New Jersey (NJ ...Never had a deposit with PSE&G, but if you do it is based on the historical consumption rate of the property. If they do require a deposit, many times it can be waived if you can supply a letter of credit from a previous utility company. For instance, when I moved to my current home I went from PSE&G to South Jersey Gas and Atlantic Electric.
- Why can't I get through to PSE&G by phone? Did they layoff phone staff ...I had to phone PSE&G several weeks ago, also with a billing question. I got the same message about taking emergency calls only. I ignored the message & stayed on the line. I then heard a message about a very long wait time to get through to a rep. I ignored that also & held on.

- PSE&G Bill (apartment, lease, condo) - City-Data ForumCalled PSE&G and they did credit the overage on the next bill. Another time we got a very large PSE&G bill. We had PSE&G check the meter against the reading stated on the bill. The guy from PSE&G said that whoever read the meter had gotten the number totally wrong. PSE&G did credit the overage the next month.
