Probably one of my favourite movies. If I remember correctly there is a statute in law know as double jeprody (unsure of spelling, too tired to care) where if a person is charged with a crime, murder of the Archbishop for example and found innocent or more importantly not guilty they cannot be charge with the same crime a second time regardless of what evidence is found after the fact.
