I noticed that this went away, for the most part, in a week or so. Sorry you are not feeling well--maybe something else like CC or even a virus?

I called the company and asked them if Prevacid was gluten free. After several minutes she said she would have to call me back. She called back and said, yes, they are gluten free.
- Celiac And Taking PrevacidFor one of my twin now gluten free daughters, GERD was her primary Celiac symptom. Her identical twin had more of the "typical" digestive issues. My daughter was put on prevacid for a little while and she got somewhat better but not enough for me. She went gluten-free on June 11 and just now she is basically 98 percent free of GERD.

- how long til prevacid starts working? - DCUM WeblogThe acid causes damage to the throat and esophagus and that is what causes pain. It takes prevacid about a week or so to really kick in but it can take a few weeks longer that that for the damage to actually heal all the way and the pain to stop completely.
