Bookmark or Share- Which is better? Kubota RTV or Polaris Ranger? - GON ForumThanks for all of the input. I will be using it mainly for hobby farm work and riding my wife and little girl around !!! I heard that the polaris is better suited for full throttle applications versus just "cruising". As far as attachments go, I have a tractor to do most of the hard and heavy work.
- Knocking/popping sound from rear end of Polaris Ranger 1000I have a nearly new Polaris Ranger 1000 (about 50 hours on it). It recently started making a knocking/popping sound when in motion. It sounds like the noise is coming from the right rear area. When I speed up, the noise repeats faster. It happens in forward and reverse. The noise is intermittent.
- To buy or not to buy??? 800 Sportsman - GON ForumPolaris was the first to do Automatic tranny, true AWD, and Independent Rear Suspension (I'm not including the ol' Suzuki quadrunner 250 from 1988 or whenever it was cause 2" of rear suspension travel don't count) and now EVERY maker is doing.
- Is this common, My Ranger will not run if I disconnect the battery ...Polaris batteries are garbage, mine made it about 18 months and had a buddy who's didn't even make it a year. I replaced mine with a odyssey extreme pc925 and it cranks so much faster and no issues running a winch and led lights. It was a little pricey but beats a dead battery once a year.
- Buying a atv/utv out of state? - GON ForumI am in market for a new polaris ranger or kawasaki mule. Pricing is definitely better in SC or TN. I am looking at SC more than TN due to where I live. When you purchase out of state, do you have to sign a paper saying you will pay GA taxes. Or will use it on a farm which some how offsets the taxes. What was your experience.
