Pneumatic tires, also known as “air-filled tires,” maintain their round rubber shape and structure because they air. The inside of a pneumatic tire is hollow, allowing air to sit inside and maintain its form. But there are also foam-filled pneumatic tires (called “solid pneumatics”) that are full of foam.
