Islander is probably the best bet to accommodate both fishing and family activities... i also think that Scout is very similar to Pioneer. The Scout 215 XSF is very nice (I have one - so biased - I admit). Like the Islander it is a great blend for both family and fishing, which is what we needed.

Another option is to go 2 ft smaller with a 202. Pretty much the same number of seats, and honestly, it looks like you lose room in the front of the 202 but gain room in the rear.

But then again, those seats are an asset while inshore where they serve as great casting platforms. I could see myself buying a bigger boat someday, but couldn't ever see me buying anything but a Pioneer at 20 foot and under.
