I guess for me, those 'feelings' build over time and dependant on how much time/effort I spend in a relationship. Although with men (the abusive ones I've been attracted to dating in the past), I don't feel any sort of non-platonic emotions other than physical attraction and a weird sort of 'panic' that builds over time after they start ghosting.
