To your other question regarding temp controls, this is def an upgrade from the OG Peak 100%. It ranges from 450-620, and the app allows you to customize each heat profile (450-620), heat time (up to 2:00), and color.

Keep in mind the 3D chamber is another $85 or so but it’s a complete game changer. The only good OG Peak I’ve hit a my friends upgraded one and at the point it makes more sense to get the updated Pro.

The GPS chip is also the same but the second antenna set is not connected on the 9PP, so that's why the 9PP doesn't support dual band.

If you are looking to replace your rig, reach out to someone you might know that have a peak pro with 3dxl & try it a few times. I know ppl that have switched from a traditional rig to a peak pro & they love it, then you have some that don’t want to switch from a rig to an e-rig.
- Puffco Peak Pro vs Carta 2 : r/rosin - RedditPeak Pro (new v2) is $400 (I think I saw $350 for BF, and v1 $299), then 3D chamber is $75… I got a Carta 2 recently for under $250… Even if you think the Peak Pro is better (which I personally do not) I can’t see any scenario in which the Peak Pro, with or without the 3Dxl, is *THAT MUC H better.
