It has gradually replaced traditional TGV services from 2020 up to the end of 2022. Now, whenever you take the TGV, it will be a TGV INOUI.. You will mainly see the difference on the trains: some TGVs have two levels while others have one.
- Ouigo: Cheap TGV and classic train tickets from SNCF ConnectOUIGO trains carry more passengers than TGV INOUI trains, so extra time's needed for everyone to board. Therefore, the rail company asks people to arrive at the station 30 minutes before the train is due to leave. Note: the train doors are closed 5 minutes before the departure time. You get a bit more time with OUIGO Classique trains, where doors are closed 2 minutes before the departure time.
