Bookmark or Share- TiVo Roamio OTA Streaming? - TiVo Community ForumI'm finally getting around to looking for a used Roamio OTA with Lifetime service and have a question. For background, I already have a Roamio Pro with 6-tuner cable service, but I'm thinking of cancelling cable and going OTA, hence looking for an OTA TiVo.
- Tivo OTA Picture Quality? | TiVo Community ForumThe Tablo is very buggy but the PQ is as good a live OTA. I'm a video nut and that's very important to me. the Tablo offers 2 levels of quality; compressed using built in memory or uncompressed using xternal drive which I'm using. How is the OTA PQ on the Tivos and are there quality settings on the Tivo as well.
- I see that TiVo Edge for Antenna is discontinued (even...I see the death of the DVR for cable, but I like to think there is a market for DVR use for OTA. With all the free content available I cord cut by not having cable, limiting streaming services, and record as much as possible from OTA channels. With Tablo and Zapperbox entering the DVR market, I think TIVO could at least continue on with that.
- Which OTA Tivo For Me - TiVo Community ForumRoamio and Bolt OTA models have 4 tuners. They both can run TiVos legacy OS or current OS (there is a single Bolt OTA model that one runs the latest). There are Edge OTA units that have 2 or 4 tuners but the 4 tuner Edges are rare. Any Edge can only run the latest OS.
