- Tuning A WRX on 87 Octane - NASIOCI guess I didnt really explain from the beginning that I was running 95 octane and not 91 octane. 95 oct was the same price as 91 oct until recently they jacked it up to $5.80. So now i am talking about the difference in price from 87 to 95 octane, which would be ~$14 a tank. I am just gonna try it today since im on E right now.
