The take-up on the trigger pull is a bit less, but reaches the eight-pound point before firing. The NY-1 adds @2.5# to both take-up and letoff relative to that obtained with the 5.5# connector and non-NY trigger spring.

- NY1 trigger for G26 gen 5 | Glock TalkNo, because of the Gen5 trigger spring design and how it interacts with the Gen5 cruciform, the old NY trigger spring will not work. A new NY1 of the same design as the current Gen5 spring would have to be produced for it to work. I tried it in my Gen5 26 just to see. The best defense is a good offense, and I'm really offensive.

The NY1 with “-“ connector gives a more consistent pull at about the original 5.5# range and it resets “better”. It feels like the trigger stays on your finger better during reset. The “+” connector they installed in our guns for a hot minute sucked. Never tried the NY2.
