Bookmark or Share- NRA solicitor - AR15.COMYou wanna know how the NRA is trying to raise money today. They call you from a 866 number that isn’t marked as the NRA. They ask you some stupid question about how you feel about Biden trying to take our guns. Than proceed to offer me a 5 yr membership for $100. Which is cheap considering what they used to ask. So I asked the guy.
- What level of NRA membership are you? - TNGunOwners.comBenefactor is the highest level of membership offered by the NRA. I joined the NRA as a Life member on the easy pay life (EPL) for $500 in 1993. I paid $25 every 3 months until I reached the $500 for life membership. Over the past few years the NRA has been running a special to upgrade your status of membership at the first of the year.
- NRA Check Program (bank checks) no longer around? - AR15.COMNeeded to get some more NRA-sponsored/logoed bank checks. The website is gone (www.nracheckprogram.com) and the phone number is no longer connected. Couldn't find anything on the NRA website mentioning the check program, and nothing on Google talking about it (just some dead links, and links to scammers/copycats).
- Are thr NRA sweepstakes rigged? - AR15.COMThe NRA doesn't control them. They're contracted out to a fundraising company. If the contest was rigged, it was rigged by the company who contracted with NRA, or whoever else, to run the fundraiser. If you want to see it happen in person, go to a Friends of NRA dinner. They get some very nice prizes and they announce the winners at the dinner.
- NRA, TFA, GOA, NAGR?... Which to support?Remember, NRA is not 'primarily' a gun rights organization. Their primary purpose is supporting marksmanship. They do an excellent job of that. The NRA-Institute for Legislative Action is the lobbying arm of the NRA. All they do is lobbying. And the reason other organizations exist is because the NRA has a history of compromise.
