Bookmark or Share- Changes coming to MLB television packages, revenue sharing. Ending ...NESN is one of the primary reasons I have cable at all still. That was always sort of the case with games occasionally on Fox or ESPN but those were at least still on the same media platform (cable). I'm not signing up for Apple, even a free month or trial or whatever, just to watch one or two Red Sox games.
- NESN on ROKU question - Sons of Sam HornFrom my understanding, you can only play, pause and rewind live games if you pay for the NESN 360 subscription. You cannot record anything through NESN 360. I'm out of the NESN service area, so this is a non-starter for me either way. I've read that the NESN 360 app is a disaster and causes people to frequently miss parts of games. YMMV.
- NESN Nation, a new FAST (Free Add Supported TV) Channel...And the Sox and Bruins do broadcast games on streaming services. NESN has its DTC service and is available on Fubo. Sox games are on MLB.tv out of market, as are Bruins games via ESPN+. FWIW, the only fully free, ad-supported, direct-to-consumer, streaming service for local teams that I am aware of is Victory+.

It was something many around NESN believed for years to be necessary, particularly Nate Greenberg, the longtime Bruins public relations director and executive.
- No NESN Red Sox DVD this year. | Sons of Sam HornNESN has an hour-long special of in-season highlights that is well worth watching. It has the generic title "Red Sox Best of 2018 Special." Next airing on NESN: tomorrow at 9PM. They should release a DVD of that, it would be a great memento of the best regular season in the history of the team.
