Bookmark or Share- 1999 Dime with a bump in the center - Coin TalkI wonder if these coins were touched by a welder tip. That would explain the heating in the center. Like I said, I have seen these rarely, I remember 3 to be exact, two looked just like the OP coin, with dots in the center, the third the dots were off to the side a bit.
- 2014 Arches quarter error? - Coin TalkI am putting together a National Park Quarters folder today and found an interesting "extra rock formation" at the top of this 2014 Arches quarter. The pics are not the best but you can clearly see the difference between the coin in question (1st two pics) compared to a typical one (3rd, 4th pics).
