Bookmark or Share- Namor The Submariner Asian? | CBR CommunityI would note that an Asian playing Namor still wouldn't make Namor Asian. Because, again, completely opposite side of the world. Atlantis isn't in Asia, and it's never been coded as having any particular Asian influences. (I mean, the whole idea comes from a Greek philosophical text. Atlantis is and always has been a white people myth.)

Unfortunately, knowing Marvel, the blame will fall on the character, and not on Jason Aaron's terrible writing.

Nick Fury Sr. himself will be back one day also. Writing death is not only gimmicky and non-impactful but it shows a lack of creativity by the writer, editor etc cause death means nothing.

Namor the Sub-Mariner Appreciation 2024Namor is handling this the wrong way, Namor can't kill the humans who killed his people, Namor can't enact Atlantean law against humans, blah blah blah, Namor is wrong wrong wrong. Steve slaps Namor on the wrist, and then Aaron has Namor used as an emotional punching bag throughout the entire run.
- Was Namor the most powerful Superhuman of WW2 - community.cbr.comNamor may not have been Superman, but sometimes he was written like it. Still, that didn't make him the most powerful character of WWII. Sidebar 1: Master Man and Warrior Woman may have been perceived as Superman and Wonder Woman pastiches respectively, but I don't believe either was nearly as strong as the real thing when they were first created.
