I don’t have any experience with the muck masters though. My field boots are about 5 years old and other than the dog chewing the exterior off one boot they are still great and my wife says I wear them for something about 300 days per year. Good luck, Dave

They are much warmer too IMO. I had my Muck boots for almost 10 years and had even re-glued the soles a couple of times. This year I lost one of the soles while fishing and I was still able to keep walking in just the neoprene "sock".

A thin merino liner sock and then the outer sock appropriate for the temperature. It really helps with sweaty feet. I've also found over the years with Muck or rubber boots that if I'm hunting multiple days in a row the boots go on a boot dryer every night.

I would routinely tell customers to look towards other brands (Muck, LaCrosse, Rocky, etc). Itasca uses a steel shank in the soles of the boots, and steel conducts cold.

Without changing how I treat my boots (walking through woods, mud, on rip rap, kicking holes open, etc) La Crosse Alphaburlys have lasted twice as long. I have alphas on currently as I’m typing this. Hoping they hold up.
