I split up my time 3 ways- normal, anything above 5000MSL (95%, usually 6-8K DA), and mountain (only 5 hours or so). I don't think flying at high altitude is mountain time.

Permanent standard time would suck for the northern states because the sunset would be too early as would the sunrise. I hated falling back when I lived in MO.
