You would always say 'I will send you the proposal next Monday'. Alternatively you could say 'I will send you the proposal on Monday'.
- Why do we say 'last Monday morning' but not 'last morning'?Is this because last Monday morning is unambiguous, and yesterday morning is also unambiguous whereas last morning is? Why doesn't last morning just mean the morning that passed if it is night time (and you are referring to a time in the same day), and if it is morning then it refers to yesterday's morning?
- On Saturday afternoon or in the Saturday afternoon?The choice of prepositions depends upon the temporal context in which you're speaking. "On ~ afternoon" implies that the afternoon is a single point in time; thus, that temporal context would take the entire afternoon as one of several different afternoons, or in other words, one would use "on" when speaking within the context of an entire week.
