- Is the Evo X reliable as a long term daily driver? | Mitsubishi Lancer ...But i'v always loved the Mitsubishi Evo X. And I have always wanted to have it as a daily driver. however, after talking with some of my friends who generally know more about cars, they keep saying its a bad car. they say too many problems arise, it breaks easily, and its not reliable in the long run. is this generally true?

- Common Evo 8 problems | Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution ForumIf you havn't done so already, I would post this exact same question over on evolutionm.net because this is strictly a Evo X forum whereas evom is for all Evos but predominately Evo 8 and Evo 9s. Just as ravnos said, take it to a local performance shop/mechanic who is familiar with the 4G63 (Evo 8 Motor) and have them look it over. Good luck!
