Bookmark or Share- Why is the Bing search engine not working properly with Microsoft ...Microsoft Edge. I also have issues with Bing being excessively slow when doing searches, or it will time out. Since the latest Windows 11 update, Bing has gotten worse when used with Edge. It started last night, when I opened Edge or opened a new tab and selected homepage the Bing Search page was "gray" with no image and just the search bar.
- Edge is using bing as the search engine despite is set to google on ...Hopefully, one day I can return to Edge. Who knows, I may find that I like a competitor's search engine better. I ...Everyone hates Bing, nobody wants this here, but there is no setting in windows options to remove Bing from the start menu (even after disabling Bing from Search toolbar, browser, etc.) the Bing Chat buttons still remain in the start menu's search functionality right at the top.
