- Has anyone used MegaBus? : r/KingstonOntario - RedditMegaBus is great if you can get tickets well in advance and don't mind feeling like a sardine in a can. As another posted, they are often late on arrival and they don't run as frequently as I'd like (10am is the earliest departure to Toronto, whereas they used to have an 8am departure which better suite day-trippers like myself; the latest departure from Toronto to Kingston is 12:30am)

I rode it a few times in college on 6 hour trips & twice or short hour hops to buy a car. My trips cost less than the fuel would be driving, decently clean, &!were always on time.

Flixbus is also always cheap, their most expensive fare is $31 (and they used to be as cheap as $5, unfortunately it seems like they no longer offer that).
