- Chairman's Statement | McCune FoundationThe McCune Foundation was established in 1979 by the will of Charles L. McCune. The donor, a Director of The Union National Bank of Pittsburgh for 56 years, served as its President from 1945 until 1972, and then as Chairman of the Board until his death.
- Publicity Policy - McCune FoundationMcCune Foundation grants are provided anonymously, a policy in keeping with Charles McCune's charitable practice of seeking no publicity of his philanthropy. The Distribution Committee respects Mr. McCune's wishes and requests that publicity not be given to the grants.
- Apply - McCune FoundationAs the McCune Foundation approaches its planned October 2029 sunset, we will no longer accept unsolicited applications. Moving forward, the Grantee Portal will be available only to existing grantees. For organizations with a grant history who wish to submit a new inquiry, please contact your Program Officer to discuss next steps.
