Bookmark or Share- National Theater dress code? - japan-guide.com forumWe are going to see a matinee performance at the National Theater this November (and yes, I know it will be long and Kabukiza offers shorter performance options). I was wondering what the appropriate attire would be? It is 4:30 in the afternoon, and we will be walking around most of the day, but we don't want look like slobs.

My mom took Japanese Culture classes there (flower arranging etc). Oh, abd getting yelled at by rhe theater manager for climbing up back of the curved wall in front of the place and then going infor the matinee on Saturdays.
