Wait til you develop a taste for it before attempting those very marmite-forward recipes.
- Does anybody actually like Marmite over Vegemite?Marmite was made way before vegimite. Vegimite was made in Australia when it became difficult to ship Marmite during the world wars. However, you can, of course, now buy marmite in Australia. The thing is, it is Marmite that is tailored to the Australian taste, therefore not quite the same as the original sold in the UK.

I go by texture and crumb more than anything else. If it’s a proper thick doorstep loaf with a nice amount of chew and none of that strange UPF softness, I buy it.

I tried it once and my south american palate didnt like it at all, but its a quite divisive food: some love it, many hate it. recently I've seen some people use it as an ingredient to give a "meaty" flavour to vegan food
