I immediately went online to the website indicated in my cancellation letter and requested a refund. Several weeks later, I called their Customer Service number here in the US to ensure that I was in their queue for a refund.

Lots of small, quiet rooms, makes the whole airport experience.... pleasant. With time and willing the spend the money to get into a lounge, it makes a 18 hours travel day bearable.

Since you are in Granite Bay, you will go from SMF to LAX on United where you will pick up the Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt. If I'm correct on LAX, it's a great flight to Frankfurt. We've done this out of Elk Grove. (Or, they may fly you to some other city to pick up Lufthansa).

I just tried both the telephone numbers listed in the link, neither connects you with a human being at Lufthansa. +1-800-982-3835 NO, it's a 'home service hotline! or 1 (800) 645-3880, it's LH but only allows you to go down the social media hole, no one answers.
