- Louvre/Versailles Ticket Purchasing Issues - Rick StevesHello everyone. I (and one other of our travel group) tried unsuccessfully to purchase tickets today for a May date for both the Louvre and Versailles. I attempted a second time to purchase and card was still not authorized. I contacted my bank card company who said they approved the purchase and that I should not have any issues.
