When things get this small it's even difficult to hold one of the tweezers open just the right amount so to be able to reach in between coils and grab the correct one at the correct spot -let alone trying to do two tweezers at the same time.

It seems to be a matter of preference and i prefer a Donegan visor with a loupe for clock work. I wear glasses so I use a clip on loupe for watch/pivot work. Find the amount that works for your eyes (10x for my watch work) and I also have some 30x for up close look at pivots.

I found that stereo loupes, also called surgical or Dental loupes work better and when I need to get close I found I do better with a really good high power eye loupe. I have found the microscope to be very useful on some jobs. I used a lot when I was getting the hang of using my Jacot Tool.
- How to keep standard jeweler's eye loup in eye | NAWCC ForumsYou take the loupe and push the lower edge down and slightly into the fleshy skin below the eye socket. It'll give some, and the skin will usually overlap the lip. Then the upper edge gets tucked in just below the brow. Leave your eye open while doing this. A few tries and it'll be old hat.
