Bookmark or Share- Jenks is exploding - tulsanow.orgAlong with the Mexican restaurant Los Cabos located at the southern end of Riverwalk Crossing, FlyingTee/GolfSuites has been one of the few anchor tenants to consistently bring large numbers of people to the shopping center which has never had a retail anchor. Calls to Jenks Mayor Cory Box were not immediately returned.
- The Grille on Riverwalk Phase II - Tulsa NowNothing in between Los Cabos and Riverwalk Movies had turned a profit (except perhaps the Cigar Box) in five years, and now this huge puppy is open and ready--positioned even further down the parking lot, past current construction of a "rodeo" dance club. This, IMO, is the equivalent of a troop surge in Afghanistan with nuclear weapons.
- New restaurants near Bass Pro?? - tulsanow.org* Los Cabos - Getting better. The joint on the River walk has a bit of an identity crisis with WAY over-priced drinks. * Olive Garden - That's ok, but there are enough of those in town. * PF Chang's - Even though I despise most chains, I would like to see this happen, but it is most likely a rumor.
- Restaurant Alcohol and Food Tax higher than 10%?!? - Tulsa NowLos Cabos is one of the few that does the sin tax right. The law states the sin tax has to be built into the menu price. Most of the restaurants around Tulsa add the sin tax above the menu price. The tax commission when asked about this says they are flexible in the way it is done, even though the law states HAS TO.
