Kelly Thompson writes a strong, capable and assertive Lorna, a pretty good characterization that would be fun to read in "normal" times but it's bittersweet when the X-office couldn't care less about using Lorna in storylines that strongly concern her (genosha/the genocide of a mutant nation/the death of Magneto)

Let's put the number four antagonists, plus the boss. What are Lorna's odds breaking into the protagonist team? Practically zero. Lorna is competing with too many names at this point who already made it and check the right boxes.

Poor Lorna's default state has been to be treated like a B-Lister since day one.
