Reviving Meyer Lemon Tree - Ask an Expert
Thanks for your question about your Meyer lemon tree. You may not be able to 'get the branches and leaves to return' this year, but you can keep the viable part of the plant alive by continuing to water and fertilize it. For a healthy tree, that would mean fertilizing monthly between May and September, and this applies to yours as well.
What is growing in my potted plant soil - Ask an Expert
Is the fungus going to change or get bigger, because it covers most of the soil. Also I'm not sure this is a citrus tree, it doesn't look like any other lemon tree I've seen. It doesn't have dark green leaves, and apparently a lemon tree would've bourn fruit by now (4 years). I planted it from a seed I removed from a store-bought lemon.
Greenhouse usage & care - Ask an Expert
Assuming that your lemon tree is a 'Meyer' lemon then the cold hardiness is zone 9-11. The plant will go dormant through the winter and could be damaged if left outside during deep freezes (like we experienced last winter). Does your shop building have windows or other light source?
Hazelnut Trees in Puerto Rico - Ask an Expert
If you are at an elevation of around 500 meters, the hazelnut trees will do better. Most of the elevation around Cidra is pretty low but out in the mountain area, the elevation creates a better living condition.
