One site I've seen is LandHub and it offers an abundance of this type of sale but I'm not sure of the legitimacy of this or other sites.

You can use your own agent to work with the seller, it's just like buying any other property. There's nothing specific about Landwatch that you need to watch out for - you need to do your own due diligence on the property no matter which listing site you find it on.

- Land watch.com : r/Homesteading - RedditBut other than being careful and doing due diligence Landwatch has been a great tool. Even if you don't trust it to find land, you can use it to locate the cheaper areas of each state and then search those counties on some other source. I still check landwatch for good deals in our area after landing such a great deal on our current parcel.
