- AWS vs VSR - Airsoft Sniper ForumIf you want the looks of an AI AW, consider a conventional type 96 platform (WELL MB01 or MB08). Same reliability and just as upgradeable as the VSR (which is still king of the sniper rifles, for good reason), whereas the L96 AWS is not fully upgradeable, the chamber isn't for example. Type 96's make for a very solid and reliable system.
