Bookmark or Share- Klymit Hammock V, a good idea or not - Page 4I think the Klymit pad is fatally flawed for hammock insulation because it has sewn-through baffles (as opposed to the box wall baffle design of similar air pads such as the xlite), allowing sections of up to an inch in length to be without insulation. It is the same design as their regular pads (static V), which seem to work ok on the ground.

They should design thier own hammock with a sleeve (on a diagonal) for the insulated V Luxe. At 30 inches it provides insulation for the sides and has an R Value of 4.5.

Not sure an uninsulated pad would be worth much more than summer insulation. " I wonder if anyone else has an ear so tuned and sharpened as I have, to detect the music, not of the spheres, but of earth, subtleties of major and minor chord that the wind strikes upon the tree branches.
