Bookmark or Share- New Klipsch RP-1400SW Does Not Sound as Powerful as Old Klipsch R-12SW-klipsch RP-8000f fronts-Polk Signature S35 center -Klipsch r-12sw or rp1400sw sub-Forgotten Model in-wall rears What I've tried:-Adjusted gain, crossover, phase on the RP1400 to various levels. Anything less than 9 on the gain is very underwhelming. Get plenty of volume from the 12SW with gain at 5(wall rumbling, feel it in your seat a little)
- Klipsch R-12SW vs R-112SW - AVS ForumIf you're stuck on Klipsch the R-112SW is worth the extra money and not a bad sub aside from the amp issues. The R-12SW is a turd. I owned it and returned it - my first real sub purchase. Don't waste your time or money. Depending on your budget, it would be worth your time to look into offerings from Rythmik, HSU, PSA or SVS.
- Klipsch R-12SWi at Costco is it worth it? - AVS ForumJust got one as I think these are going bye-bye soon since Klipsch just introduced the new R-121SW sub. So now both Klipsch R-12SWi subs are set up in the front as I've moved the Energy ESW-8 behind my MLP. With some tweaking, I feel the bass is now more even through the room.

I recently purchased a New klipsch r-12sw great price. I currently have my pioneer receiver and my Bose Acoustimass 5 Series II system and have no issues. I purchased the subwoofer to beef up the sound a bit, and couldn't turn the deal down.
