Bookmark or Share- Slow starting, How to prevent fuel from draining back into tank.I have a Crane HI6R. I didn't get the dashboard mounted retard dial for it. I am thinking about getting one so that I can dial back my timing on startup. I run mechanical advance only. I could also use the dash adjustable retard for highway cruising. That would net better mileage.
- Neutral safety switch and reverse light wiring - NastyZ28.comThis is the defroster relay. It is direct battery fed (orange with black stripe) and switched on and off via the blue wire. The purple/white wire travels thru the harness to a connector above the steering column where it becomes purple, then exits the dash via the driver side kick panel, under the sill plate to the rear window.

The wires going to the pedal switch are complete still. One is orange and the other is black with a red stripe. The black wire with the red stripe that is exposed back in the engine side of the firewall has a factory plug end on it.

The possible VIN 172109821 doesn't follow the sequence we expect, but if this VIN was 17Z109821, it would work out as. 1=Chevrolet 7=1967 Z=Fremont assembly plant 109821=last digits of original car VIN.

You will most likely need to shorten your driveshaft, as that most (not all) TH400's are longer than the TH350. Which means you will also need a different crossmember. I know in some apps you can just move the crossmember back, but not sure if this works in a camaro.
