Bookmark or Share- Wilson Staff 1964 Special Grind SG202 Ken Venturi IronsKen Venturi overcame so many things in life but the 1958 corrupt ruling in Palmer's favor at The Masters never did the recognition it deserved. He sure gave us a huge amount of enjoyment as a commentator later in life.
- Orlimar Ken Venturi Blades - Hickory, Persimmon and Classic Clubs - GolfWRXMy Dad had a set of the Wilson Staff Ken Venturi grinds and those were some the best looking clubs of all time in my opinion. I believe the grind number was SG-202. Unfortunately they were stolen but I have been on the lookout for another set in good shape. Loved those clubs.
- Orlimar Ken Venturi PG-64 Forged Irons - Equipment - GolfWRXI knew Ken Venturi and he and I were working on bringing out a set very close to these irons when he died. I love the wedges, set 4 degrees apart on the two low ones and five on the gap wedge (47, 51, 55 and 60).

To ensure the low and slow takeaway, you need to drag the clubhead as you take your club away from your ball. Ken Venturi called the drag takeaway the "paintbrush" move. It is a true one-piece takeaway.
- Wilson Ken Venturi Limited Edition Irons SG-202 - GolfWRXWhile rumaging in my storage space, I came across a set of these Wilson irons. I have no idea of age, history or playability...did come across a couple of past postings here on this site, but they were about Olimar Ken Venturi. The shaft label says "Wilson Limited Edition S". I only took the one pic, rather than take up alot of space here.
