Kate Rubins (born October 14, 1978, Farmington, Connecticut, U.S.) is an American astronaut who has made two flights to the International Space Station (ISS). As a child, Rubins was interested in becoming an astronaut, and her growing interest in science led her to microbiology. More @Wikipedia
