Bookmark or Share- Use mail merge for bulk email, letters, labels, and envelopesMail merge lets you create a batch of documents that are personalized for each recipient. For example, a form letter might be personalized to address each recipient by name. A data source, like a list, spreadsheet, or database, is associated with the document.
- Use Quick Parts and AutoText in Word and OutlookYou can use the Quick Part Gallery to create, store, and reuse pieces of content, including AutoText, document properties (such as title and author), and fields.
- Prepare your Excel data source for a Word mail merge - Microsoft SupportStep 1: Set up your data source in Excel. If you're using an Excel spreadsheet as your data source for a mail merge in Word, skip this step. If the data source is a .txt or a .csv file, use the Text Import Wizard to set up your data in Excel. After you successfully import a .txt or .csv file, go to Step 2.
- Set up a new mail merge list with Word - Microsoft SupportYou can now insert mail merge fields in your document. For more information, see Insert mail merge fields. Create a new mail merge list in Word and save it for future use.
- Use a formula in a Word or Outlook table - Microsoft SupportOn the Table Tools, Layout tab, in the Data group, click Formula. Use the Formula dialog box to create your formula. You can type in the Formula box, select a number format from the Number Format list, and paste in functions and bookmarks using the Paste Function and Paste Bookmark lists.
