Bookmark or Share- Insert images, icons, and more in Microsoft 365On the Insert tab, select Pictures and then Stock Images. Select one or more items from Images, Icons, Cutout People, Stickers, Videos (PPT only), Illustrations or Cartoon People. Tip: Use the search box at the top of any collection to find relevant images.
- Insert pictures - Microsoft SupportIn the Insert tab, select Picture > Stock Images. Select an image from the collection of images shown in the dialog. You can also type what you are looking for in the Search box to find the desired image.
- Crop a picture in Office - Microsoft SupportCrop the margins of a picture. Use Insert > Picture to add the image to a Office file (such as a Word document, PowerPoint presentation, or Excel workbook). Right-click the picture. A pop-up menu appears with two buttons either immediately above or below the menu. Crop is one of the buttons.
- Cut out part of a picture - Microsoft SupportFor an image in a Office file, you can remove parts of the picture that you don't want to include. As described below, you start with automatic background removal. Then, you manually indicate the areas of the picture that you want to keep and remove.
- Insert a caption for a picture - Microsoft SupportThe Insert Caption feature in Word makes it easy to systematically add captions to pictures in a document. In other Office apps, such as PowerPoint, you manually add a text box near the image and then group the text box and image. See the instructions below.
