Eucalyptus events have featured the nation's most prominent poets and artists. Gates officially joined ImageNation in 2000, lending his passion and expertise to ImageNation programs and events.
- COCKTAILS & SŌL CINEMA | imagenationEstablished by ImageNation, Cocktails & Sōl Cinema is a national quarterly social launched at Harlem's world-famous Apollo Theater. Cocktails & Sōl Cinema features screenings of independent Black world cinema preceded by a reception with complimentary hors d’oeuvres, wine/beer/cocktails, a live DJ, and a talkback after the film.
