Bookmark or Share- Engine Vacuum vs MAP - Holley Performance Products ForumsHowever, the disparity I'm seeing is, at idle, if I put a vacuum gauge directly to the intake manifold, it reads 14.5 inHg. The readout on my Holley Sniper says I'm idling at 40 kPa. 14.5 inHg would be around 52 kPa. 40 kPa would be around 18 inHg.
- Cold start issues/holding RPM. - Holley Performance Products ForumsGave the screw a full turn in, and the IAC was at 0% and it was idling at 1200+ RPM. Backed it off a bit and set it to idle in neutral at about 6% or so IAC Position. Also made the small changes ABC suggested to the GCF. Starts & idles great now.
- High Idle With Holley SniperMy Plymouth was idling high and would not come down until I hit the throttle. The secondary spring was not strong enough and secondaries were sticking. Tried to add another coil on the spring with great difficulty. Ended up pulling on the end of spring and bending it on the support bracket enough to solve the problem.
