- grammar - Why do we use the future with will when we say "I'll be in ...In the examples you give "I'm going to be in London next week" is correct. And so is "I'll be in London next week." The difference in meaning so small that it doesn't matter. "Going to" tends to be used for future events that will occur as a result of current internal conditions (either as plans or not).
- Use of the future tense after the phrase "I'll let you know when..."In the second version, "I'll let you know when I will have more information", there are three time points. At time T (now) you don't have more information. At some time (T+1) you will have a schedule. This schedule gives a time (T+2) at which you will have more information.
- Is there difference between "by then" and "until then"?I'll call you around 9 o'clock. Until then, sweet dreams! I'll call you around 9 o'clock. If you haven't heard from me by then, don't worry. I'll call you around 9 o'clock. By then, I should have all the details worked out. Essentially: Until then means "from now through the specified time" By then means "at a deadline of the specified time"-----
- future tense - "I will be" or "I'm going to be" - English Language ...I'll be fine. I also have the impression it's more common than "going to be", likely because it's shorter to say. Also of note is that in cases like this, "going to" is often spoken as one mushed-together word: I'm gonna be fine.
