Do that for the 3 full quarts. Then using your extra container, fill the left over fluid into that container. Most have some kind of measurement or see through section.

If the hybrid battery does fall below a certain minimum charge, it will mean a tow to the dealer to get the hybrid battery to function again by performing a special recharge.
