Bookmark or Share- Hodinkee Insurance - Thoughts? | Omega Watch Forums - Omega ForumsHodinkee recently announced they are now providing watch insurance, and of late I've been looking at various options to insure my collection. Has anyone looked at the offering Hodinkee, and if so what are your thoughts? My understanding is they are providing the service through Chubb who are relatively easy to work with.

This leads to some toxic behavior (ABTW and RGM for example) and some credibility issues. There is good stuff at Hodinkee but you need to filter through the fact that all these higher end blogs are basically PR for the manufacturers.

- Business is not booming for Hodinkee | Page 5 | Omega Watch ForumsAnyone who’s mentioned Crown & Caliber has lamented what happened to the business and, especially, deplored the real damage the Hodinkee deal did to the livelihoods of their employees and watchmaker contractors. The deplorable thing about Hodinkee’s failure is that the architects of it certainly insulated themselves from any discomfort.
