Hi, So I bought and downloaded Heroes IV a few days ago and was really looking forward to beating the campaigns because I never managed it as a kid. The game has a real tendency to crash during battles though. I mean every session ends in a crash and it's always during a battle.

Just run the .exe file (no matter where it is) and install the mod to the folder where you have the game. After the installation has finished just run HoMM3 HD from your start menu. This should open a launcher where you can set all of the options.

Heroes 2 are only one exception but only as separate installer (just for few files GOG are dump repackers).
