- Harmony Companion and Elite Remote Hub E2012 Issue ResolvedJust hit this. Older hub firmware only supports tls 1.1. I was able to update the hub firmware using myharmony on windows (in vmware) and updating over USB by attaching the USB device to vmware instead of my Mac. After that the MyHarmony app on my iphone could connect and configure the HarmonyHub.

Every time I tried it would not pass the power-on test. Here's what worked - When adding a device instead of choosing entertainment device, I chose scan network. It found the receiver, added it as the right model, STR-AN1000, and the controls work great.
