Bookmark or Share- Copy the window or screen contents - Microsoft SupportWhen you're using a Microsoft 365 program with Windows, there are two ways to copy the contents of what you see on your screen (commonly referred to as a "screenshot" or "screen capture"). You can use the Snipping Tool or the PRINT SCREEN key. The Windows Snipping Tool captures all or part of your PC screen.
- Remove or turn off hyperlinks - Microsoft SupportYou can remove a hyperlink from a single address, remove many links at once, turn automatic hyperlinks off, and turn off the requirement to press Ctrl to follow a hyperlink. To remove a hyperlink but keep the text, right-click the hyperlink and click Remove Hyperlink. To remove the hyperlink completely, select it and then press Delete. In Excel:
- Track changes in your presentation - Microsoft SupportIn a collaboration scenario, you could send a review copy of a presentation to other people, collect their changes and comments in that copy, then use the Compare tool in PowerPoint to compare and merge the review copy with your original file. These steps are described in detail below.
- Recover an earlier version of an Office file - Microsoft SupportOpen the file you were working on. Go to File > Info. Under Manage Workbook or Manage Presentation, select the file labeled (when I closed without saving). In the bar at the top of the file, select Restore to overwrite any previously saved versions. Tip: In Word, you can also compare versions by clicking Compare instead of Restore.
- Insert ASCII or Unicode Latin-based symbols and charactersTo insert an ASCII character, press and hold down ALT while typing the character code. For example, to insert the degree (º) symbol, press and hold down ALT while typing 0176 on the numeric keypad. You must use the numeric keypad to type the numbers, and not the keyboard.
